Finally in Positano on the beautiful Amalfi Coast!
Another of my dreams that I had the chance to fulfill and was even better than what I imagined: with my big sister! It took me a while to post that article as I was trying to sort my millions of pictures. We visited Ischia, Capri and Positano which was a perfect itinerary as they are all 1h/1h30 by boat from each other. We managed to go back to Naples by boat from Positano to Salerno and then we took a train from Salerno to Naples. We stayed 3 days in Positano, a few additional days would have been great but it was enough to get lost and discover the pretty little narrow streets covered with flowers, the beautiful ceramics, the granite sellers with giant lemons, the endless stairs. And If there is one thing to do in Positano is to make the most of the stunning view, the colourful scenery & the dreamy sunset.

Capri c'est fini!!!!!!!!!!!
Arriving under a heavy rain, in condoms raincoats and soaking wet sneakers, trying to take the crowded funicular with massive suitcases, I wished our Capri trip would end sooner than what It was meant to! But Thank GOD everything became brighter, our hotel ended up to be amazing and we got bluffed by Capri between vertigo, aperitivo, charm, paparazzis and amazing views! I am lucky I have been to many places this summer and my favourite one is Ischia, La Isola Verde, The green Island as they call it. Two hours by boat from Naples, well-known in Italy, I had never heard of it or seen 3240 photos on Insta before leaving and I was not expecting anything really.
Senigallia, Italy. A lovely town in between Ancona and Rimini, on the Adriatic Coast. Croatia is just on the other side of the sea. LA "Dolce Vita", living life day by day, sipping a cappuccino "perFEEETTO", a gelato "buoNIIIssimo", everyone seem to be singing, living on pushbikes, walking around the little cobbled streets full of history and charm. Make sure not to miss the regular Markets near the church, THE castle, the Festival "Jamboree" which attracts millions of bikers and make the crowd dance on "Rockabilly" every summer.
My sister met an Italian, Classy! I got a British with its "fish&chips", "dressing gound", roast diner at 5pm, pubs and tea with milk. Ma Che?? "The heart has reasons that the reason ignore". E Basta! Ciao Regazzi!! Senigallia, Italie. E basta! Ciao Regazzi! |
